Bloodborne Pathogen Training
This 2 hour class discusses procedures participants need to be familiar with to avoid bloodborne diseases spread through contact with blood and certain body fluids.
Meets the requirements of:
Confined Space Entry (Entrant, Attendant, Supervisor) Training
This 8 hour class (specifically customizable to entrants, attendants and/or supervisors) is for all personnel who serve in one of these positions in a permit-required confined space entry.

This 8 hour class (specifically customizable to entrants, attendants and/or supervisors) is for all personnel who serve in one of these positions in a permit-required confined space entry.

Confined Space Rescue Technician Training
This 40 hour class is designed for emergency responders who are expected to perform confined space rescue.

Confined Space Rescue Refresher Training
This 4 hour refresher class is intended for personnel who serve as entrants into confined spaces. This hands-on refresher puts you in a real life scenario making a permit-required confined space rescue.

CPR/AED Training
This 4 hour class applies to rescue personnel or any personnel who might encounter a victim, who suffers a heart attack resulting from either medical or traumatic causes.

Fall Protection Awareness Training
This 4 hour class is for all personnel that work at height and must be aware of various dangers of working at heights and how to protect themselves from falls in the workplace. A co-branded certificate in fall protection from STS and SpanSet will be presented after the completion of this class.

Fall Protection Competent Person Training
This 8 hour class is for any personnel designated by the employer to be a competent person and have the responsibility to preplan, select, inspect, and implement fall protection systems for their work site. A co-branded certificate in fall protection from STS and SpanSet will be presented after the completion of this class.

Fire Extinguisher Training
This 2 hour class will familiarize employees with the general principles of a fire extinguisher and the hazards associated with an incipient stage fire.
Meets the requirements of:
Firefighter Survival/Mayday Training
This one day class is designed for both novice and the most seasoned firefighters to challenge them both physically and mentally. It is designed to give you the skills you need to rescue both yourself and others. Upon completion, participants will receive the NFA "Calling the Mayday" certifications.
Other NFPA Indiana (IDHS) firefighter certification courses also available:
First Aid/CPR/AED Training
This 8 hour class is for personnel who might encounter a person who suffers an injury resulting from either medical or traumatic causes. A certificate in first aid from EMS Safety will be presented after the completion of this class.

Forklift Operator Training
This class applies to persons engaged in the design, maintenance, and use of forklifts, fork trucks, tractors, platform lift trucks, and other powered industrial trucks (PITs).

Hazard Communication Training
This class is available in 2 or 4 hour sessions and covers S.D.S. (formerly M.S.D.S.), the hazard communication program, labels, and other forms of warning. This program covers the new Global Harmonizing System (GHS) requirements.

DOT HM-126 Training
This 4 hour class applies to employees involved in shipping and the packaging of hazardous materials and transportation of these materials by means of over-the-road, railway, aircraft, or vessel.

HAZWOPER/HazMat Awareness Training
This 8 hour class for all employees who are likely to witness or discover a hazardous substance release and who would not take further action beyond notifying proper authorities. (First Responder level)

HAZWOPER/HazMat Operations Training
This 24 hour class is for all employees who respond to a spill in a defensive fashion for the purpose of containing a release from a safe distance without actually trying to stop the release.

HAZWOPER/HazMat Technician Training
This 40 hour class is for all personnel who respond to releases or potential releases for the purpose of stopping the release. This class mixes hands-on (over 60% of the class) and lecture and is geared for all employees who work at hazardous waste sites.

HAZWOPER/HazMat Refresher Training
This 8 hour class is for responders who are certified as HazMat Technicians or any employees, managers, and supervisors who have completed the 40-hour HAZWOPER course.

Lockout/Tagout Training
This 2 hour class applies to all persons engaged in servicing and maintaining machines and equipment that might energize or start-up unexpectedly.

Management & Supervisor Training
This 8 hour class is designed for managers and supervisors of employees engaged in hazardous waste operations. In this class, participants will participate in the development of a site-specific safety and health program.

MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) Training
This training class applies to persons engaged in the design, maintenance, use and operation of MEWPs. This includes scissor lifts, boom lifts, manual lifts and various types of trailer-mounted lift devices. Formerly known as AWP Aerial Work Platforms.

NFPA 70E "Arc Flash" Training
This 8 hour program is for all personnel who are responsible for the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of low and medium voltage electrical control and distribution equipment. Supervisors and safety managers of electrical maintenance employees.

Occupational Noise Exposure Training
This 2 hour class ensures that the purpose and function of an hearing protection program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application and use of noise reduction devices are acquired by applicable employees.

This 8 hour class is for all personnel who will assume control of a HazMat incident scene beyond the first responder awareness level.

This 30 hour (4 day) OSHA safety training class is intended to provide in depth instruction on a variety of general industry safety and health topics. The program has several mandatory presentations along with a selection of optional topics to better customize training to the intended audience. This program is aimed at supervisory and management personnel.
Covers all the mandatory OSHA topics:
- Intro to OSHA
- Managing Safety & Health
- Walking/Working Surfaces
- Electrical Hazards
- Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans, and Fire Protection
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Materials Handling

OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry Training
This 10 hour (2 day) OSHA safety training class is intended to provide instruction on a variety of construction industry safety and health topics to entry level participants. The program has several mandatory presentations along with a selection of optional topics to better customize training to the intended audience.
Covers all the mandatory OSHA topics:
- Intro to OSHA
- Focus Four Hazards (Fall Protection, Electrical, Struck By, Caught in/Between)
- Personal Protective and Life Saving Equipment
- Health Hazards in Construction (Hazard Communication & Silica)
- Plus at least 2 electives (and 2 optional subjects) of your choice:
- Fall Protection
- Machine Guarding
- Scaffolds
- Materials Handling, Storage, Use, and Disposal

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training
This 2 hour class is for all employees whose jobs require that they wear protective equipment to protect them against hazards of processes, environment, chemical hazards, radiological hazards, or mechanical irritants.

Respiratory Protection Training
This 2 or 4 hour class explains and demonstrates the three types of respirators: air purifying, air-line, and self-contained breathing apparatus. Fit testing, use and care procedures for respirators are also discussed.

Technical Rope Workshops
These technical rope workshops are for Rope Rescue Technicians, Confined Space Technicians, and other technical rescue disciplines dependent upon rope techniques. Includes:

All of the courses are available upon request. We reserve the right to cancel any class and refund any pre-paid registration fees.
