Course Overview

Safety Training Services, Inc. presents this comprehensive training program intended to provide instruction on a variety of mandatory and optional topics in Construction Industry Safety and Health to entry level participants. This 10-Hour program is presented with a mixture of classroom instruction and hands-on exercises. Team Development skills are emphasized in all aspects of this course. After attending the 10-Hour course, students will have covered:

Introduction to OSHA (mandatory)
Focus Four Hazards-including: Fall Protection, Electrical, Struck By, Caught in/Between (mandatory)
Personal Protective and Life Saving Equipment (mandatory)
Health Hazards in Construction-including: Haz-Com and Silica (mandatory)

In addition to the mandatory subjects, 2 elective subjects and 2 optional subjects will be
