OSHA 30 Construction Industry Training

30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program - This 30-hour program is intended to provide a more detailed look at construction industry standards and policies concerning health and safety issues. This program is aimed at supervisory and management personnel responsible for site safety programs.

Course Overview

Safety Training Services, Inc. presents this comprehensive training program intended to provide instruction on a variety of mandatory and optional topics in Construction Industry Safety and Health. Emphasis will be placed on those areas that are the most hazardous. This 30-Hour program is presented with a mixture of classroom instruction and hands-on exercises. Team Development skills are emphasized in all aspects of this course. After attending the 30-Hour course, students will have covered:


• Introduction to OSHA (mandatory)
• Focus Four Hazards-including: Fall Protection, Electrical, Struck By, Caught in/Between (mandatory)
• Personal Protective and Life Saving Equipment (mandatory)
• Health Hazards in Construction-including: Haz-Com and Silica (mandatory)
• Stairways and Ladders (mandatory)

In addition to the mandatory subjects, elective and optional subjects will be covered.
